Company owner İbrahim Atay began his career in underwater operations in 1985. Until 1989, he worked in various positions across different companies. In 1989, he founded Mercan Dalgıç. Due to international projects, he temporarily suspended operations in Türkiye. In 1995, he resumed his activities in Samsun by establishing Kaptan Sualtı ve Deniz İnşaat Ltd. Şti., through which he continued providing underwater services alongside manufacturing medium-sized service vessels and boats for the domestic market.
From 2001 onward, he organized various diving operations and undertook numerous marine projects. In 2005, he expanded operations internationally. During this period, he served on the Board of Directors for the Turkish Chamber of Shipping (8th Committee) and as a board member of the Federation of Black Sea Associations.
Particularly after 2014, he spearheaded various projects in the Persian Gulf, India, Bangladesh, Georgia, and North African countries. Today, our company operates in Türkiye, offering jetty maintenance and repair, construction of excursion and cargo piers/wharves, pile jacketing (concrete and steel),steel and HDPE target construction, as well as the trading of marine equipment.
