Company History & About Us
Our founder, İbrahim ATAY, began his career in the underwater services sector in 1985. Following years of experience in various capacities across leading industry firms until 1989, he took his first entrepreneurial step by founding Mercan Dalgıç in the same year.
After briefly pausing operations in Türkiye to focus on international assignments, ATAY established Kaptan Sualtı ve Deniz İnşaat Ltd. Şti. in Samsun in 1995. Since then, our company has continuously delivered specialized underwater services alongside the domestic manufacturing of medium-scale service vessels and boats.
Beginning in 2001, our firm successfully organized and executed comprehensive marine operations and diverse diving projects, expanding its footprint into international markets from 2005 onward. Demonstrating a commitment to sectoral and community advancement, İbrahim ATAY served on the Board of Directors for the Istanbul & Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Black Sea Regions Chamber of Shipping (Committee No. 8) as well as the Board of Directors of the Black Sea Associations Federation.
Significantly expanding its global operational capability after 2014, our company has executed numerous high-profile projects across the Arabian Gulf, India, Bangladesh, Georgia, and North African countries.
Today, leveraging its extensive industry expertise, Kaptan Sualtı ve Deniz İnşaat continues to deliver specialized services across Türkiye in the following core areas:

-Flexible / Fixed Dolphin (FD) concrete and steel pile jacket encasements
-Fabrication of steel and HDPE pontoons, targets, and floating structures
